MURRAY GOLD SCORES 'HOODWINKED TOO! HOOD VS. EVIL'
(Los Angeles, CA) – Lakeshore Records will release the Hoodwinked Too! Hood vs. Evil - Original Motion Picture Score available digitally on April 26th and in stores on May 17, 2011. The album features original music by Murray Gold (TV’s Doctor Who, Death At A Funeral).
“When I was visualizing my approach to this film,” said Hoodwinked Too! Hood vs. Evil’s director/co-writer Mike Disa, “I knew it had to be a tongue-in-cheek action comedy. Something as smart and exciting as any big budget action film, but funny and accessible to kids. That made me instantly think of Murray [Gold]'s work; dramatic and bold but still playful and surprising.”
Murray Gold was born in the British naval city of Portsmouth but soon drifted away on a long, circuitous voyage around the world. He currently lives in New York City. He has been nominated for four BAFTAS and five Royal Television Society Awards in his native UK.
