KOTAKU'S BEST GAME MUSIC OF 2011: 'LITTLEBIGPLANET 2'

Kotaku, the wildly popular game site, named the LittleBigPlanet 2 game itself as having one of the best video game soundtracks of the year. LittleBigPlanet 2 music was composed by Winifred Phillips, whose other projects include:

* LittleBigPlanet 2 (Sony Computer Entertainment) -  "Soundtrack is simply wonderful."  PlayStation Universe
* God of War (SCEA) -  "Captivating soundtrack."  Digital Pro Sound
* Speed Racer (Warner Bros. Games) - "Vibrant score.  Mindblowing."  Tracksounds
* The Da Vinci Code (2K Games) -  "Ethereal.  Score: 9 out of 10."  BBC News
* Legend of the Guardians (Warner Bros) -  "Epic and intimate at the same time."  ScoreNotes
* The Maw (Twisted Pixel Games) -  "The soundtrack is excellent."  IGN

Winifred's Awards include:

*  Hollywood Music in Media Award recipient - Best Song in a Video Game
*  Interactive Achievement Award recipient for Best Original Score
*  Game Audio Network Guild, 4 Awards, including "Music of the Year"
*  Finalist, International Film Music Critics Award for "Best Original Score for a Videogame"
